Ampersand Art Award from the International Society of Acrylic Painters

Award winning Houston artist Karen Landrigan announced today that her painting titled “Flying” has been awarded the Ampersand Art Award. Landrigan’s painting was chosen by juror to be included in the International Society of Acrylic Painters (ISAP) 2nd Annual Online All-Member Exhibition.

 

“This is a wonderful recognition of my work and I am very grateful,” Landrigan said, “I am jumping for joy. I feel like I’m the one who is flying.” This year Landrigan has become a Signature Member of the International Society of Acrylic Painters (ISAP).

 

The ISAP competitions draw entries from around the world and many talented and professional artists submit their work. In the most recent competition only 75 entries in total were selected for inclusion. ‘Flying’ was chosen by juror to be included in the International Society of Acrylic Painters (ISAP) 2nd Annual Online All-Member Exhibition.

 

Mr John Salminen, AWS DF, NWS. was juror for this year’s selections. Mr. Salminen is a signature member of numerous art societies.
Landrigan has been the recipient of several art awards in the last year including the Third Prize Winner for International Artist magazine and selected in the top of three winners of The International Gallery of the Arts (IGOA), Painter’s Art Contest.
